Which countries have addressed the most messages to KEO ?

Since the origin of the project, over 200 countries have addressed messages to KEO. However, the rate of participation vary from one country to the other.

Here is the hit-parade list of the countries participating in addressing the most messages, according to two different classifications on January 1, 2007 :

• by rate of participation: La Reunion followed by Canada, Finland, France, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Norway, Switzerland, Costa-Rica,… with rates of participation sometimes exceeding a message for 700 people.
• by the number of messages: received by country : China ( December 2006) is at the top of the countries having addressed the greatest number of messages to KEO, followed by the United States, India, Canada, Mexico…
